Events

ACC‘s community of families and staff is connected not only through day to day interaction, but by a calendar of special events. Parents, staff and volunteers lead these events, which provide opportunities for children and families to learn and play together. The Parent Advisory Committee sponsors evening parent education events. Past topics include kinder choices, nutrition, positive discipline, dental care, and talking to children about differences. Families enjoy a summer picnic, family campout, holiday program, and community feasts. The ACC community of families and its wider community of support come together for two annual fundraisers — a Trike-A-Thon and the It Takes a Community Benefit.
